If I remember correctly, she went out for the inspection at the end of the 2015 season, out for the 2016 season, and came back near the end of October this year.

Actually, if you look on Strasburg’s facebook, you’ll see that 89 is already back up and running.

The car I believe your talking about Saturnr is Western Maryland Pullman 202 which is in terrible condition as you said because it sat out in the elements for I think about 50 years as a summer home.
