That error occurs when tga is compressed, compressed tgas are not supported by TRS.

.texture is graphics file (picture) while texture.txt is text file. It can't work to rename one to another or vice versa. .texture file has to be converted to the tga and reference to it has to be...

That is entirely correct. Once You have nVidia card, You have PhysX natively supported and thats why the simulation of it is undesirable.
