Well that's coming on! It's subjective, but the livery looks slightly too green (although that said, the version of BR blue I've been using for years has a definite green bias.)
I'll be interested...
Oh! I've got an RTX 2080 Super with 8GB of GDDR6 memory. It seems OK to me!

I got my initial view about weathering from a post by Jim Ward, aka Sniper297, way back when. Unfortunately, the useless search engine on these forums is unable to identify the original posting, but...
haha, yes I take the point! :Y:
I've been using the reduced draw distance with some of my 'micro' routes, which does improve framerates. I guess you don't need a large draw distance if your...
Very nice Rumour. Those Mk1s look very attractive, hope you've included some catering vehicles! :p
Paul
Great shots PLP, though it pains me to see the new class 47 and Mk1 coaches and think that they'll never appear in any other livery or have any use other than as 2000s excursion stock.
Paul
There's actually an instruction with the route to reduce draw distance to 2000m. I did this and framerate was boosted to over 40 fps. However, is 2km enough in this day and age for Trainz?
Paul
Take your point Rumour, but I think that S20 is still a work in progress so not ready to be bundled with the retail version of TRS22. I guess the question is, when will it be ready to release? (and a...
Crikey, that's not very many! I'd encourage everyone who can afford it (I'm aware that many can't) to take out a Gold subscription so maybe N3V could take on a few more people.

Interesting. I downloaded the updated PLL for TRS19 from the Trainz Content Store and I'm pretty sure it only took a few minutes. I'm doing the same now for TRS22 and the download is taking over 80...
One other question - I've downloaded the revised PLL as a Gold subscriber. Am I right to assume that, if I end my subscription, I'll lose the route and all the dependencies? If so, I think I'd rather...
Chrisaw is certainly 'Mr Signal' and has produced a great range of semaphores for Trainz. He has taken requests in the past. I think he's around and about and hopefully will see this thread. (I have...
Great pics Malc. I do like the cobbles in Barnstable. Is that texturing or a spline?

I think the obvious and biggest change is the move to procedural track. A great improvement on the TS12 version for that reason alone. It would be nice if we could see this new UK procedural track...
Absolutely agree with this. It's pretty obvious that S2.0 is superior to Surveyor Classic, but for those of us who have spent 15-20 years working with the latter, it's going to take some getting used...
These look phenomenal Graham, great work! (now to work out how I can introduce one of these onto one of my routes.....)
Paul
This is exciting, thanks for your work on this Christopher. Does this mean we can all now upload Turfx assets and share with the community?

Question about the use of MSI Afterburner - I had been using Asus GPU TweakII to monitor/manage my RTX 2080S. However, I've noticed that Trainz immediately crashes/closes as soon as TweakII is...
I'm intrigued to discover that I'm on version 21H1, OS build 19043.1645.
Strange thing is that it hasn't asked to install updates so I assumed I was up to date. (I've checked - it's there waiting...
I had this happen to me the other day and, after some puzzling, I realised I hadn't put the route-layer at the top of the layer hierarchy. Once I did this, the merge went ahead fine.

Just been doing some work in TRS22, the compass there is really good - very clear, so you know where you're going, but not intrusive. And then turns into this super-duper tool when you want to make...
Thanks for the further advice. Actually, I'd gone back and tried again - the Trainz Plus patch (not beta) offered to take me direct to 117092, so I plumped for that and patched accordingly. TRS22 is...
I see the RTX 2080S is still hanging in there at number 19. Not bad for a card I bought back in 2019. And seems to work really well with TRS22.

It's helpful to know what direction you're facing in. I'm all in favour of style, but ultimately I had to turn it off as it got in the way and obscured the view of close-up work in Surveyor. Creating...
