How Do You Remove Section of TurfFX or Turfx Effect

How do you remove a section of TurfFX or Turf effect after you apply it with TRS19 SP5?

After applying a large section of Turf, I want to remove or undo the effect for just a section of it. The only way that I can find to remove it, is to delete the whole effect layer.

If this is now available for TRS22 or Surveyor 2.0, that would be great to know. I have not been editing anything with the new tools yet, I've only just been playing with them. So for now, I'm only editing in TRS19 SP5
