An update on the Medicine Hat route...for those who are interested in such things.

by Chris750 on March 21st, 2017 at 09:15 PM
Howdy folks, been since August that I wrote the blog, I have been busy working on the MH route and am now about 70% finished. I am currently putting in all the towns and such but I am too picky on such things, I want them to look exactly like the real thing which is impossible and slows me down to no end, in fact I will spend an hour searching content on and off line for a building that looks exactly right, just nuts. by Chris750 on August 24th, 2016 at 09:14 PM
Been a while since I wrote in the blog, have been busy with other things and also playing War in the East instead of choo-choos. Well things got put on hold for several days while I fought with TANE and the random crashes happening just minutes after loading surveyor. Finally got that figured out and have been able to continue on with fixing the track issues in Medicine Hat (Alberta). I spent a couple of days trying to fix the yards as TRANSDERM laid them out but finally I just gave up on it and nuked the yard and started over with my own custom ladders. Things are much nicer looking now. In the first picture you can

My gradient calculator

by Chris750 on July 2nd, 2016 at 10:01 PM

This is the gradient calculator I use for track that is bendy and such and the "apply gradient" just doesn't work well. Basically it calculates where to put the spline and at what height to give you the slope shown, works well. Help file is in the zip.
