  1. Pretty good. Pcas1986 is working his magic with the scripting trying to make it possible to move from one car the the other with out having to leave the interior mode. He had had success but is still working out the bugs. This would really make these Amfleets sweet! The only problems are that I still need to create a realistic looking metal texture and that these cars NEED A BETTER MULTI-PLAYER! With all the prototypical functions of this equipment it would be most beneficial and practical for one user to be able to operate the locomotive while the other operates the cars. However, I've gotten little feedback as to rather or not/ why this feature wouldn't be put into the next trainz version.

So far the Amfleet includes: working tail lights and brake lights, animated vestibule doors that correspond to the exterior doors(operated from the scripted panel), some seats recline, and Paul is working on the indicator lights that correspond to the exterior doors being opened. All that's left is to finish up the exterior(texturing) and i would like to ask Paul if he could implement that script that would make the brakes sound when the brakes are applied. It would even be night if i could make the hand brake in the vestibules and have them operational. The only thing with these cars is that they are designed for crew work, as in player operates the loco while the other player operates the cars as a conductor but Trainz doesn't allow for that. so I've been trying to post in the suggestion section for a "crew option". Hope to see it happen.
  4. lol, at a stand still right now. I'm in the process of switching to Blender 2.67b, so until i get that up and running i can't really do much. Sorry it's taking me soo long to finish this project. I just want to make sure that it's almost perfect. Someone suggested that i release it now as version 1 and then release it again when everything is done as a new and improved version. Even if i were to do that it would still take a week or two to get this one to a releasable condition. What do you think?

  8. this project ishaving too many set backs. Now i cannot seem to update my meshes. When i open and view them with Asset X they appear to be up to date but in trainz they are not! Should i do an extended data base repair?
