Thanks for the info, I've read that you might be also working on some PRR catenary. If so great the REG cat was really needed, and greatly appreciated and really nicely done. Will be putting to work immediately.

The work you've done on REG catenary is fantasic, thanks
  3. I'm about 80% done. I still need to finish Market East, Suburban, and finish up a few other stations and wayside scenery and that's it. Oh, I need to build new signals since the old ones are no longer available, but that's no biggie. Thing is, every time I ride the line, I see a building I just want to model - a rowhouse, a shell of an old factory, etc. but I have to keep myself focused on finishing.

You beat me too making the west trenton line haha! Ill just start making the airport line! How far did you get?
  5. Basically, the point of DRM is to restrict your ownership and use of a product so that your software may be deactivated at any time for any reason, with no refund. The original purpose was supposedly copy-protection, but it's become far more useful at keeping people locked into a particular product or platform (e.g. Apple, etc.) Steam is really big on that - they can turn off your software at any time for any reason.

OK thanks. Take your time. Well its basically for my fictional route. My route is going to be fictional in this town Logan City The route is from Logan City to Harrisburg and than to NYC (I'll have to make the Keystone Corridor ).
  10. Sure, I'm in the process of making PRR Catenaries anyway. It might take me awhile since I'm doing lots of other things, but I'm going to do from 1 to 6 track versions with cantilevers out to 8 or so...maybe more. When I get my Readings together in a few days, I'll let you know. You can preview them here:

They will show as "RDG Catenary" in CMP and Surveyor. Basically, I just have to lower the wires a little and, if necessary, add riveting.

It's Been Awhile

by RRSignal on June 3rd, 2013 at 10:54 AM
I just realized that it's been over a year since I posted an update to my blog on the progress of my R3 West Trenton/R8 Fox Chase/Newtown route. Sorry to anyone who has been hoping for news; I'll try to post updates much more frequently.

At any rate, here's where things stand: West Trenton-Trevose is complete, though I do need to do some ground texturing in West Trenton. Somerton through 16th Street is needs trackside scenery built out more and ground textures, but is functionally

Releasing my Content Early

by RRSignal on April 20th, 2012 at 07:19 PM
So, I decided to release an alpha of my West Trenton/Fox Chase/Newtown route. As pointed out in the freeware section, I'm doing this now simply because I don't want my stuff to disappear into the ether should, say, I lose interest in Trainz, or whatever. I'm not saying that I've lost interest at all, just that, well, you know how things are, and I don't want to be like so many other content creators who left the community and let anyone else pick up the torch.

So, here you are. They

I'm a content creator with two routes in progress. First is my SEPTA R3 West Trenton/R8 Fox Chase/Newtown route. This is an electrified route that operates between West Trenton, NJ and Philadephia, PA. The line features an interesting mix of electric passenger action and heavy-duty diesel freight operations. My other route, MainStreet, which I work on from time to time just for kicks, is a fictional, suburban town, but it effectively incorporates two separate train sets, a diesel loop and a partially-underground
