The Canadian Pacific Railway’s Mountain Subdivision I enjoy your illustrations of the old trestle bridges through Roger's Pass and of the snow sheds protecting the line. I worked onboard a tourist train for many years and wondered what route the original rail line took... 1885 Rogers Pass Route Books by Graeme Pole (The Spiral Tunnels and the Big Hill, Gravity, Steam and Steel) and Pierre Berton's The Last Spike helped to fill in many gaps. Would you considered making computer illustrations which recreate the Rogers Pass Loops? The rail line through Rogers Pass before the Connaught Tunnel was built? Or of the original line on The Big Hill? The Rogers Pass Loops in particular I find most fascinating. By some accounts they were the most beautiful trestles the Canadian Pacific ever built. I would love to see them illustrated with accompanying snow sheds. Thanks.
