Here's a few phrases my mom says that apply here:
    "Life's tough, get over it."
    "Suck it up, buttercup."
    "Too bad, so sad."

Perhaps you didn't realize it at the time you said that, but NKP is deaf.
  2. I used bendorsey's TOTC cars to represent the following TVRM passenger cars:
TOTC Observation 4 represents Eden Isle
TOTC Sleeper 1 represents Clover Colony
    TOTC Baggage 5 represents Emporium
    I used Irving's TOTC Coach 3i for TVRM Coaches 1037, 1688, 906 & 1000
I also used Irving's TOTC Diner 1i for Traveler's Fare
  3. Of all that, only things will be making are the 630 and the 4501 and the older coaches (1688 and 1000). I'll also have the diner and Pullmans but backdated to prewar appearances as that's the era my interest in modeling is. Also, caboose 41 is very far up on my list. It goes well with one of my current projects.
  4. Yes, I'm one of the regular fireman at TVRM. I don't do as much on Saturdays nowadays, but I am usually out there then. I usually fire during the week almost everyday in the summer and will likely be head end conductor on many of the Chickamauga Turns this year as well.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING AND HANUKKAH

by jordon412 on November 28th, 2013 at 05:27 PM
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! And happy Hanukkah! These two holidays won't occur on the same date for about 7,800 years. My plan is to use Thanksgiving dinner to start fattening up for the winter. Eat all you want and get ready for the beginning of the Holiday season. Happy Thanksgiving, Hanukkah and Holidays!

If you care about Autistic people, help this boy out!

by jordon412 on November 21st, 2013 at 04:10 PM
When I read this article, I was shocked about how this situation was treated. Makes me want to give everyone except the autistic boy and his family three licks with a paddle!

April Fools Day - Open Season

by jordon412 on March 31st, 2013 at 09:43 PM
So tommorrow is the big day: April Fools day, or as I call it, Open Season. I'm probably not going to be able to 'have some fun' tommorrow, since we're going to a theme park for the day. Then again, my cousin works there, so I might find out if he's done anything then. Anyway, I wrote this blog so that people could post their most clever April Fools day pranks for people to read (and get a few ideas . . . . . .)

Here's mine:
My mom pitches a fit whenever I forget to take my medications

Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum - Coming Soon: SOUTHERN 4501! Read on. . .

by jordon412 on March 20th, 2013 at 02:54 PM
So I received the Smoke & Cinders - Fourth Quarter 2012, Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum's official newsletter just today and I didn't pay much attention until I got to the '4501 PROGRESS REPORT' section. Here's what it said:
Work has steadily continued on the restoration of locomotive #4501. Welding of the backhead was completed, the front course of the smokebox was cut off and replacement started (including modifications for a feedwater heater), installation of the feedwater heater
