About frogpipe
Biography:
I was born and raised near Baltimore MD, and lived for 5 years near York, PA. During my childhood I was fascinated not only with Pennsy (and it's North Central RR which once ran maybe a mile from my childhood home), but also with the B&O and M&Pa - was never much of a fan of Western Maryland RR for some reason.

My great grandfather worked in the Mount Claire shops of the B&O and was part of the crew that built the current Tom Thumb that is on display at the B&O Museum in Baltimore. The original had exploded, and the replica was built at Mount Claire for the 1927 Fair of the Iron Horse.

I now call Burbank California home.
Location:
United States of America, California, Burbank
Interests:
Trains, Planes, and Gagets

01: Not quite fully implemented, unscripted, 3-headed interlocking signal. The bottom head is always red in Trainz, other than that it's essentially an absolute

Ergo, while the brakes are applied, the Auxiliary or Brake Reservoir can't be charged while the brake pipe pressure is reduced - as is the case when the brakes are applied.

The link is an excellent document describing the air brake systems on trains, I have only quoted the opening paragraph.

M&Pa Route in Development

Both the PRR and B&O will have portals which will spit out trains every now and then, just as some kinetic backdrop.
