I am playing with the files within Trainz 12, and have decided to do a series of menu page reskins. This is the first, but please let me know what you think of it!



If anyone is interested, I will post the required graphics and instructions to help you achieve the same result.

    i like the idea, what i dont like is the 'buttonized' areas.

    Nice image, but I agree the buttons need some work still..

    I bumbled around in there a while ago. I should go back in, but I got a bit fed up with it all when I saw how they handled stars:

    ....and I agree with you both, it's a work in progress. The buttons are the result of trying to work some black and white into the scheme, and I'm not entirely happy with them either. I wanted to see if anyone was even interested in such a mod before I continue. Thanks for replying though, it's tough to get any feedback on the forum, and I was hoping it would be easier in a blog!

    I shall post again when I like the "buttons"...

    That is pretty sharp Euphod, keep it up... you might be able to add a randomizer so you can have different images come up.

    Thanks guys, but....the buttons! Dun Dun DUNNNN! Anyway, I think I've figured out how to fix them, maybe tomorrow I can post a new picture.

    As far as a randomizer goes, I had just thought to do different themes for the major railroads, so that folks could have their favorites. Of course some may request an obscure road, but most would probably be possible.

    Sooooo how do we do it. I don't mind the buttons and would love to have a custom BNSF SD70 to be on the menu!
