If you set the replace assets dialogue options to "current section only" you can replace one baseboard at a time. This is probably your best option. As always with this sort of operation I suggest making a backup of your route first...

Looks like I may have to do it the old fashioned way then of replacing each spline one length at a time and putting some 600 or more Triggers, Track marks, Signals, Cable tubes and Direction markers back in place afterwards then. Holy crap......


Wondering wether to now just leave this extra detailing as most of my boards need multiple different types of track, and overlook this fact, may drive my OCD crazy but hay ho. On the other side it would allow me to correct some of the track layer in the wrong direction helping the AI out as I've had to reallly idiot proof some of the route with many track direction markers as my route has some 40 AI trains moving at once with no fewer than 34 on the route at any one time.
