Well, technically speaking, TRS22 pre-orders and beta access begins today. Then “Early Access” arrives in January (including releases on the Steam and Mac App Store) and the "TRS22 Official Release" version will arrive in all stores March 2022.

N3V Games are very happy to announce the release of Trainz Railroad Simulator 2019 - the latest, and certainly the best ever, version of Trainz.

Both the PC and Mac version are currently available from our Trainz Store.

The Steam version is currently in review with Steam and will be released as soon as it is approved.

The Mac App Store release is scheduled for mid-January 2019. ...

A tram, a trolley, a streetcar. Yes, such rail vehicles are not going to have to back up near or at crossings as to cut cars on sidings the way freight

Probably because ATLS was initially never meant to be used as RRcrossings. It was meant for Trams to interact with road traffic on splines at intersections

I don't know about post-TANE Trainz, but American-style crossing gates by boats and vincentrh can malfunction. Boats ATLS gates don't seem to malfunction
