I've been perusing the DLS for a bit, but I haven't quite found any routes that use a hump yard and I didn't know if anyone knew any good ones or not. If you do know of one, just reply to the thread and I hope everyone's day is going well!

Now for part 2: After the Montauk & Aberdeen gets released I will not be doing much reskinning and will mainly try to focus on route-building and occasional uploading of said routes; life has been encroaching on my reskinning intentions and it's been kinda crazy lately. So the next two releases of mine, the new route and the SW1500 reskin, will be the last for a while. I'm not down & out I'm just taking a break from reskinning. Please also let me know your opinions on the first two I uploaded, SP 2535 and NYC 2459.

Smithville Classification Facility. Although you will have to change the track out. I believe it uses the built-in TS12 JR track.

The Watseka & Kankakee Railroad by MSGSapper has a full classification hump yard.

Yeah, forgot about that one, The yard in smithville (bigger than MSGSapper's) is included in the TS2010 compatible UMR-2011 route.

thanks guys. These aren't hosted on other websites, are they? I've run into that before. In fact I just found MSGSapper's route on the DLS and am downloading it now. Other content stuff to finish tonight then maybe run some trains.

I built an excellent hump yard, and it is easy to do ... with a slight -1.00 % really short hump track ... and the remainder of the classification roll down tracks at a -0.01 % grade ... with several +1.00 % really short uphill gradients placed all along the downhill gradient classification bowl (that actually slow down rolling railcars, acting like car retarders).

I might try doing a yard like that but i was never able to get the tracks to look right or get them close to each other yet. I'll probly practice more later on it.

A bit of clarification ... While Holding down on the Shift KB key while dragging and dropping the track spline points, to make them not click together like magnets.
