View Full Version : Video Tutorials - a new way of seeing how to fix certain Trainz Technical Issues

April 12th, 2012, 08:18 AM
As the title states, I've now started to create video tutorials for some of my existing tutorials.

The first one is how to solve the texture compression issue that causes odd textures on some items in Surveyor and Driver (usually all black, all white, or multicolour).

This can be accessed at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhsmH3YL3TA (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhsmH3YL3TA&feature=youtube_gdata).

I will add new videos as they are created and will post links here.

Any comments etc are welcomed.

Good idea Shane, although why some people can't follow simple instructions is beyond me.
They'll be asking for remote assistance next:o
I know it will be in the video but a simple screenshot of what search features you should use would be a good idea as the last user (no names) didn't get the idea did he.

I'm not entirely sure either, but it will come in useful for certain instructions (especially the search terms).

As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words (makes me wonder how many words a video is worth)

P.S. Thankyou for your comment.

This is a great idea Shane. I'm sure it will be much appreciated in the community.

Great video Shane, but I was not able to hear the audio portion. You did include audio, right. Some of us a moving mouse pointer is just not enough. ....Just kidding Shane, great job on the video.

Thankyou both of you for your comments (tomurban and dricketts).
