In TS12 content manager, once an asset is obsoleted by a newer version, it gets that 'zzz' tag with the little purple cloud. How do I delete these assets, as the 'Delete' selection is grayed out once theyre in that status?

If Delete is greyed out that usually means that the obsoleted asset is a builtin item. You can check this by adding builtin = true to the search.

And we all know built-in items cannot be deleted. Right?

I know built in items can't be deleted, but the icon for a built-in has a yellow background, the ones I want to delete, don't?

You are not displaying the obsolete items from the DLS by any chance as they won't be on your PC to delete and thus delete is greyed out? Need to search location = local + obsolete = true.

Obsoleted built-in items do not have the orange tinge that non-obsolete built-in items have.
