Hi all,

It's been over a year since I fired up Trainz, now with an inherited second PC, I can get back into it.
During that time, I have gone from Dial up to broadband, but the speed of downloads via FTP from the Download Station seem to be no faster than dial up.
A 1mb file can take up to 4 - 5 minutes, while ordinarily, it would only take a matter of seconds.
By comparison, a 1Gb movie from Itunes, I can d/ld in just under an hour.
This is not really a problem, after using dial up, I have learned patience, it is just a matter of curiosity.

Trainz is 2009.

Cheers, Alex.

Without a FCT you get @ 3.75 Kbs

With a paid FCT you get @ 375 Kbs

A 1 year FCT works out to @ 0.06 cents a day

Thanks, I was thinking it was just overcrowding of the server.
Guess it's time to buy a ticket.
