Hi All,
I've been wanting to do this for a while just one spot where I can upload all my screens featuring RRmods content,if anyone out there would like to add as well then by all means go for gold.
Most of the Routes involved are my own creations & will be uploaded at RRmods once completed,a process that will be over several years as I'm in for the long haul.
Sit back and feast your eyeballs on what can be acheaved with this great sim,& as always a Big thank you to all those talanted content creators out there that I'll feature aswell.
cheers
Andrew.

Thanks dricketts,
Hope your pateint mate maybe a good year off with the route,as the Frisco caboose, not my call to put a release date on that one but can't be to far off.
I'm thinking I'll only show released content from here on to keep things tidy.

I can hear the frogs and crickets and cicadas singing. The morning is hot and damp as the moisture wicks away from the grasses racing towards the sun as it moves higher in the sky.

Nice pictures, guess you had to be there...

Euphod- what a bummer, bet that must cause hell for the railroad, i couldnt imagine the train being allowed to travel very fast. And every bridge would have to be checked for clearance...

Thanks for asking. Not yet.

It's the only route I've been working on for about 8 months. I try to work on it everyday. It's a pretty big route about 90 miles and I'm including a lot of detail. There's still a lot to do but I'm committed to getting it done.

I've recently started adding textures and some details to parts of the route so maybe I can start a thread with some pics in the near future.

They are TrainzItalia's, they come with Sherman Hill. You being a Floridian, I know what you are thinking, I think. Like the ones you see along I-4 (and everywhere else) with the big giant eagle's nests on to of them.

Brickbuilder711....

The power lines you refered to are very similar, if not
the same as these.

Power Line 60kv x 3 Classic,<kuid:269413:100134>
Power Line 60kv x 3 2009,<kuid:269413:100135>

I just found them in the last week or so, but darned if I can
remember where I found them. I can tell you they work
as advertised, and look great.

All I can do is tell you to look for the creator and wish for luck.
If I can remember where I found them I'll post it for you.

This info may help.

Great shots Motorbreath! Your choice of winter season assets really adds to scenes. I can feel the stiff, cold breeze from my keyboard... Thank you also, but this route was started by Adamovic. With the stuff I have added to it, I kept the same vegetation and tried to keep the look of things consistent. I had a great starting point.

Are you RRmods guys planning on getting into any GE stuff? RRMods is getting into all kinds of stuff. We have a small group of guys who do this as a hobby. They have been working hard on some beautifully detailed models so it takes a little time. There is some top-notch stuff coming down the line.

They were donationware at MGTrainz, so they're currently homeless, but they shouldn't be for too much longer. I had distributed them by email anyhow, so if that doesn't scare you off you can contact my by PM and get details from there.

Hey King, what winter route is that???

Hi WCL its just chrisracer's Conrail Lincoln Secondary, with the 'replace assets' tool in surveyor I've just swapped out the built-in 3d veg with some older JVC 'billboard' models and added some more lineside grass & the likes.
A bit of a practice run for some future projects.

Hi gearhead2578,
I use a combination of these & grasses from username-heagarle

grass05s group big lg
grass05s group wide lg
grass05s single lg
grass06s group big b
grass06s group small d
grass06s group wide b
grass06s single b

Available on the DLS,they work fine in TRS 04-06 & TS2010 'comp' mode,
In 'native' mode they do that funky alfa thing were anything behind the grass for example the running gear of a loco will appear transparent.
sorry obout the late reply, hope that helps.

Andrew.

I recently put some time into the Conrail Secondary mainly updating the few crossings such as that one in your last shot that still have the old constant crossings. Its fun to bring new life into older content.

Hello Brandon,

The grass in on the DLS under the username-haegarle they are a combination of the grass05s ,grass06s
There are 4 different sizes of each category of the type of grasses.I use a combination of the both to achieve the look you see in my screenshots, glad you like ,hope that helps.
They are older assets so unusable in native mode in newer versions of TRS.

Thanks. I agree that it can be a bear to work with DEMs. An advantage of impressionism is that I can use selective compression to fit my needs. If I can get from one end of the layout in about an hour (hint~ speed up the built in clock with a shortened route) then I'm a happy camper. I tend to lose interest in Trainz, if it takes 6 hours to complete a run. Trainz should be fun whether one enjoys a circle of track, a quasi-proto layout or the real -deal 200+ miles subdivisions.

I mainly use 'Hi-res' textures now, a combination of the TS09 builtin textures & fellow team member 'motorbreath' textures from the DLS.

Lov'n these models Milos the texture work is the best I've seen on a North American loco in the virtal world(must post these on a MSTS site somewhere:hehe:),and thanks for the intro to StL&H.

Thanks Guys glad you like,
Nice spotting kittycraft I had been watching a 'Green Frog' DVD on the Southern Tier set in the early 2000's which inspired me to build that consist. The production did do a sidetrack where they chased a CP train out of Binghamton and up Beldon Hill, outstanding sights & sounds with lash ups of 5 to 6 CP SD40-2's in notch 8 going hard out, that's railfanning gold lol!!!
A beautiful part of the country,I'd like to model one day in surveyor as I'm kind of looking for a proto project to sink my teeth into.
I'll know now who to bale up for info if it ever happens:hehe:

Your right about that. :hehe: The Bridge Line is amazingly beautiful in the winter & fall. I have a YouTube channel with videos on the line near & around the Binghamton area if you would like a link. Some have Notch-8 SD40's
