I still think banning payware content is a good idea...

A trio of CSX GE C40-8 diesels wait on the Saginaw Sub for an autorack train to clear the Lincoln Secondary. I just downloaded these puppies and they are great. All credit goes to my friend Austin for helping me out with getting these puppies.

Since JRT has been banned for a period, he asked me to take his spot for the time being.
He wishes to tell McGuirel..."Nice Shot" and I will echo that. Love what you've done there Brittany.

I agree with Scratchy. Very impressive shot.

The one thing stopping it being a really great shot is the blue look of the background trees, perhaps because the sky is too dark, creating the wrong visual contrast.

A "milkier", bland, misty white sky would make those trees look so much darker and realistic IMHO. It's only an illusion, but it works.

Good to see you back in the weekly competitions Jadebullet!

Yeah, it was a shot that I took during a session, and unfortunately, it still had the default EK3 sky, which was blue, which I had to desaturate in order to get it to look right.

Why was he banned?

There was an issue between him and a moderator....

Reason is neither here nor there, he'll be back the 30th.

The QR Beyer Garratt, hauling a heavy coal train out near Ipswich, pases a C17, number 914, which is waiting at the station.

An Tuscola & Saginaw bay GP-35 rumbles thought the town of Emit with a light mixed train. While a heavy CSX coal drag waits out side of town on the passing track. Taken from the cab of the waiting CSX train.

Jim, each time I see one of your screens, I want to listen to "Comfortably Numb" for some reason. I guess it's because of the striking realism, and the realization that the old days of railroading are gone, even though some aspects tend to stick around.

fairly average one from me this week...
Once i finish this it should look pretty good

P.s, it really annoys me how you all get crystal clear pics, whereas mine look as though its been done with a paintbrush! Look at that SD70...:( Anyway good luck everyone.

Usually, a new graphics card will do the trick. When I switched mine, I went from this: http://i35.tinypic.com/mm4uo9.jpg

to this (My Entry):
