View Full Version : Asset: "edc fuel 01" - Need Help with Errors

The asset "edc fuel 01" <kuid:47092:28310> is used in several routes that I have installed, such as:
2010 Birch to Allison <kuid:101340:1138>
Automated Birch to Allison <kuid:101340:1163>
Florida East Coast Railway <kuid:95757:100164>
MoPac Route of the Eagle <kuid:119340:1008>

The problem is that the asset is faulty in TS2010. I get the following errors:
Error: Unable to load animation file 'hash-bb\kuid 47092 28310/edc_fuel_01/anim.kin' (no resource).
Error: Unable to load animation file 'hash-bb\kuid 47092 28310\edc_fuel_01\anim.kin' (no resource).

When I open the asset for edit, the anim.kin file is not there. Is this fixable?

Yes, find an anim.kin in another asset and copy and paste:)

Resurrecting an old thread, but I'm facing the same problem.

Did this work? Hard to understand how an animation from any old asset will actually work, although I can see why it would satisfy the error check in CM if it's just looking for any file called anim.kin.

What asset did you get the anim.kin file from?

What asset did you get the anim.kin file from?

I have repaired several assets in this manner. I forgot which asset the anim.kin file came from, but any should suffice. Using the search function in Windows to search your TRAINZ folder should turn up several.
