Hi,

Let me start out by saying, I finaly got Ifranview installed on my computer again. It has been along time for me for posting screenshots, forgive me if they look 'outta place'.
I am currently working on a project called BNSF/UP Taluth Subdivision. This route is not based on prototypical maps or anything of that sort. Its locale is somewhere in the Southwest, Probley New Mexico or Arizona. I havent yet figured out how big this subdivision is going to be, but I have about 3.5 Miles compleat so far, and I plan on expanding another 10 or so. Anyway, here are a few pictures I cought. Enjoy!

We are positioned on top of 'Photo Rock' (thats what the BNSF crews call it) looking in a Westward direction. The Tempitrue is 89 and light winds today. Clear with 0% chance of rain. A perfect day!
http://img352.imageshack.us/img352/3906/photorockup1cm3.jpg[/URL]

Later that afternoon we head further East on our trip on the Taluth, were about 1/4 of a mile from the previous shot from this point, east bound trains climb a grade of .8%. Here we see BNSF train TLULOS-2x, with a trio of UP power. Union Pacific power is not uncommon on this heavy traffic subdivision.
http://img412.imageshack.us/img412/4563/upcurvefar2cw8.jpg (http://img252.imageshack.us/img252/7328/photorockup1rh9.jpg)

Its getting late in the afternoon, and a hotshot BNSF intermodel carring 108 Pig's with 2 BNSF ES44AC's Chuggs hard at track speed to keep its time sensitive freight on schedule.
http://img216.imageshack.us/img216/5144/bnsfhot1tv1.jpg (http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/8094/upcurvefar2ds4.jpg)

Right behind the intermodel we find another train. This is BNSF train TalLos-I5. Some of the Warbonnet Santa Fe's still find there way on the line as this train makes up for some lost time due to some cripples at the intermodel yard.
http://img216.imageshack.us/img216/9122/losttime1cr6.jpg (http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/8094/upcurvefar2ds4.jpg)

Our last train for the day was back at Taluth. Here we see yet some more Santa Fe's. The 4 GE's were in full dynamic's, with about 115 Coal loads bound for points east. Increadably, No helpers on the rear as BNSF added head end helpers at this trains departing station.

Stay tuned for more BNSF/UP Action on the Taluth Subdivision

Nope, Trainz build 3337 is 2.7, I belive its the newest version you can purchase. I got mine from Trainz Classics. I kept Trs06 but deleted my TC.

Would the route run on TRS 2006 SP1? Or is it possible to download a patch or service pack of that version onto TRS 06?

Looks great, very realistic desert scenes.

Sorry about that the numbers are 3337 and 2.6

I really dont know of where to get the service packs, possably Auran's homepage:confused: I'm sure somebody would be more than willing to help you out with getting the right version.

ROUTE UPDATE: Just finished texturing the summit of the route, I'm working on the other side of the summit, possably building another subdivision for an add on to this route. I'll post some new pics in a while

There's one noticable difference of this build from Build 3092. If you notice on the last screenshot, the switches have smaller switch icons from the larger ones we currently have. -Chris

Hi,
Well I figured out how to post actual pics instead of posting links, hope y'all in enjoy.
The Taluth Sub is going along nicely, and I'm nearing compleation of the route. I'm still toying with the idea of building an add on for this route. I'll have to see what the community thinks about this one first.
But now some photos:

today, we chased Train TALLOS-I15 with a set of BNSF AC44CW's the AC's are having a hard time lugging this 8600 ton Stack Train up the summit.

There are still some editing I have to do, but route is 98% done.. I'll Post some more shots later..

Hi,

WOW- its been that long since my Taluth Sub?!?! It almost seems like yesterday I started this route, and then gave up on it. I swept this route off of my mind and hid it in the corner somewhere, untill I seen that there were new posts about it. I still have some "finishing touche's" to do on this route, and my intentions now seeing that there is intrest, I hope to upload this as soon as possiable. I have increased my ability to make better, more realistic, routes now by practice, which is the only way to have fun in this simulator.

PVincent342: I dont know, This route was supposed to be an experimental one, just so I could increase my track and building style. I supposed it could. Just remember-this is a freelance route. So anything in your imagination would be your answer.

I really dont know what ever happend to my extension route to this. It was called UP's Summerset Sub. Hummm?? I supposed after I upload this to the DLS, and I recive some input, I will make the extension...

thanks for the replies
Best Regards
Mike S.

Hi,

Im sorry to report to everyone that has been waiting for my route to be uploaded to the DLS. It seems that I have deleted this route from my computer. After I posted above, I went into TRS only to find that my route was not there. Searching CMP I relized and rememberd that I deleted this route, and all others from my most recent computer problem. After recolecting, I had to do a re-partition of my HD at the time so everything was lost. Not everything was lost however, my route building is much greater now. I am in the middle of creating CSX's Riverline sub at the moment, and have about 55 scale miles done. I will however, while taking a break from this route, make a new, more proto-freelance layout..
Once again Im very deeply sorry for the lost of this route..:'( :'( :'(

Best Regards
Mike S.
