G'day

Currently Running TRS2006.

Do I bother going up to trains classics or driver?

what are the main differences etc?

Trainz Driver is a low-cost severely cut-down demo for TRS2006. It excludes Surveyor and other functions.

It would probably be worth you doing a search on this forum for comments regarding Trainz Classics (aka Trainz Railways in UK, aka Trainz Railwayz in the USA where it includes TRS2006). As ever, opinions are divided :)

And if you form an opinion, please let me/us know here.

I just brought the "Collection" edition - Classics and TRS2006 - and I cannot decide which one to install and use!

hmm well there does seem to be a reluctance to go to driver from which i am tending to agree.

how much extra content in classics is there?
have they cleaned up much "iffy" coding wiithin it? compared to 2006?

There are already many threads on this-use the search option (on top of this page)to read some.

Classics v3 is soon to appear, opinions on the other versions appear very mixed. It's not a major step forward as I understand.

The only "extra content" you are reffering to with TC is what you need for the route that comes with it. No legacy content included. There are some threads here somewhere that tell you how to export most of this content from 06 to TC.
