Hi all,
Been a while. Haven't heard much recently but hopefully some of you have been making progress with the API?
Two new features will be entering testing shortly:
* A dedicated "controls" interface, intended to support hardware controllers.
* The previously discussed sockets interface, intended to allow a TNI plugin to communicate with external processes in a platform-neutral fashion.
You will need to install a new test build in order to access these new features. Builds are available at the following locations:
Windows
http://dl1.n3vgames.com/trainzdev/Trainzdev_91310.zip (http://dl1.n3vgames.com/trainzdev/Trainzdev_91310.zip)
MacOS
http://dl1.n3vgames.com/trainzdev/ts15_Mac_SIMCENTRAL_91311.dmg (http://dl1.n3vgames.com/trainzdev/ts15_Mac_SIMCENTRAL_91311.dmg)
This build is identical to the one provided to TrainzDev. If you're a member of both forums, you don't need to download it twice.
The actual API updates will be provided separately, but you'll need this build installed first.
kind regards,
chris
