Here is a video I put together showing off the delights of the Hill Valley Railway, my route for Trainz. Here is what can be done using Windows Movie Maker and the fraps demo. Part 2 will be shown at the end of December. The video is 7 minutes long, so please be patient while it loads. Thanks.

Eat your heart out, Steven Spielberg!! Magnificent! A beautiful piece of cinematography. Well done. And the route's not so bad either.

Nice piece of work. Although I have point out you can see the mouse about three minutes in.

By the way how did you get that shot from 4.48?

Thanks guys for your very kind comments. They make it all worthwhile.

I would also like to thank my scriptwriter, my producer, my agent.......

I am kicking myself that the darned cursor shows up on some of the clips. What a booboo. I guess it is akin to getting the boom in shot on a movie. Never mind. You learn by your mistakes.

I got the shot at 4.48 by using free roaming view. Sometimes, if you place cameras too far back from the railway line they don't work.

Johnny Douglas's music for the film "The Railway Children" is fantastic, so I had to use it for my film. His music has a warm, nostalgic quality with a touch of poignancy about it which suits "The Railway Children" perfectly, and blends in well with my little effort too. In the next video, the music will be all my own compositions, and I am hoping to add some narration into the mix too.

Thanks once again.
