Whatever has happened to these EVWR packs? They had lots of good stuff in them like GMTX and more but in the past year I haven't been able to find them on JRs website. Any reason for taking these down?

Main reason for taking them down was non-compliance with TANE. During our sweep of the freeware section to check and fix anything for TANE compliance almost 3/4 of this pack was not compliant so it was deemed to no longer offer the pack going forward.

Does this mean that JR is only going to support TANE going forward from here or is there still going to be support for TS12 SP1?

Never said that anywhere. TS12 SP1 HF4 on up as of now and for the extended future....

If we don't at least make an attempt at getting things TANE compliant we end up getting screamed at by people thus why we did what we did with this pack and a few other small bits that were quite old and just not worth bringing forward.

You might be able to find them with the Wayback Machine archive if you want them.

Just bring them back and put a HUGE notice saying not TANE capable for those who still want them.

That hasnt worked for things that had blinking red letters in bold that said for TS12 HF4 only in the past......so yeah, sticking to not being available at all.

Real shame as a lot of effort was put into those unit's Kev as you know. Pity sum-thing couldn't be done to bring them back one day.

Where exactly did we say that at all?

You have TS12 so your signature says, so you are just fine as far as our products are concerned for the distant future....

what kind of errors do these units have anyways? probably nothing that couldn't be resolved easily

Quite a few at the time which is why it was decided to simply not move forward with them, keep in mind this was probably within 2 months of TANE's release, which if im not mistaken is nearly a year now in the past. Were not going to debate this anymore, its unfortunate yes but at the end of the day that was our decision.
