Hello everyone:

While browsing new routes in TANE, I came across a route labeled "Mojave Sub Division"
by trainz ID - "bullh0g" - 499740. <kuid:499740:100003>

and a matching session "Thomas" by the same author <kuid:499740:100020>

Has anyone d-loaded and tried them?

Wondering which MS route this is, and who actually made it. The author has no posts, no announcement for the route and session, so I have a
feeling it's a clone of someone elses work.

Yes, it is a clone of the TS12 Mojave sub route and a rather poor one at that. No signals, broken tracks and no trees. I'd be ashamed to upload it under my username. Don't bother with it, as you have TS12 and TANE, get your discount code from your emails or the helpdesk if you didn't receive one and pay for the TANE version. $9.99AUD with discount, worth every cent.

Thanks grazlash !

Saved me the trouble of wasting time downloading it :)

I will pick-up the new TANE Mojave soon. Right now I'm wrestling with the new CM in TANE and it's constant listing of newly installed assets as modified, and assets downloading as faulty, when they really aren't :)

Regarding your CM problems there Rico, what build are you using?

Hi Shane !

I'm using build 81296.

Just re-installed.

While were here, have you/are you doing any work with the sketchup plugins for TANE?

Also PEV Tools? I guess the question is > do they all work with TANE?

I don't have anything to do with Sketchup plugins - the only one I know who deals with those is ModelerMJ.

As for PEV Tools, the ones I do know that work with T:ANE (albeit without the Open With capability as T:ANE currently doesn't support it) are Images2TGA (latest version), PM2IM and Mesh Viewer. I haven't tried the others yet for T:ANE (and I'm not sure if PEV, the creator of the tools, has either).

You may want a bug report regarding the modified aspect though as that sounds like a possible bug (although I'm not sure whether HF3 will fix it yet).

Oops, derp !

I knew that about ModelerMJ. Brain fart :o

Thanks for the answers on PEVTools. I asked since you host them, and were likely to have tried them all by now LOL.

The modified assets problem persists, and from what I have read on this forum, is a known bug. I just highlight/revert to original on all of the ones I know I haven't actually modded myself.

I came back to Trainz since I read that TANE was running pretty well now, but the MP bugs and non-host latency problems and constant de-synch (i.e 2-800 ms latency for me - having to re-connect every 10-15 minutes) is really making my decision less of a good one. (for me)

On a positive note, I have been really please with Philskenes TS12 routes and TANE > No errors and they run perfect ! ;)

But, I will work around the issues as i have always done :)
