Content Manager has been streamlined and reworked to allow better work flow and access to content.

Downloading an Asset from the Download Station
This tutorial covers the basics of downloading an asset from the download station but also starts to touch on advanced filters that can help find more newer content for your newer version of Trainz.

Trainz Content Manager - View Content by Thumbnails Images
In this tutorial we will show you that you can view your content in Trainz Content (Content Manager) with thumbnails if you choose to. This option is available in the latest Trainz version.

More videos on Content Manager are coming and can be found under the Trainz Wiki here in the "Using "Manage Content" in TANE" section: http://online.ts2009.com/mediaWiki/index.php/HowTo

We would like to know how many people would like video tutorials on the new TANE content manager and what the most sought after tutorials would be.

Nicely done and this is a great start.

These can be very useful for those folks unfamiliar with the subtle nature of Content Manager for now and of course others for the other aspects of T:ANE and Trainz in general.

I will add though that it is helpful to also have upload date as one of the columns, among the others such as file size, author, and so on. With upload date, it's possible to then sort on that column and see the data available in either descending or ascending date order.

Yep, planning to do lots more short help videos on those topics and more pending we have people interested in us doing so.

It's a good idea and may hopefully take some of the strain off me at the moment on the tutorial side.

Agreed. I watched this video and learned a thing or two, so *very* useful.

Great start. I too learned a few things. How about a tutorial on moving assets forward from other versions of trainz? The time, CPU and Memory consumption, physical memory needs, the amount of content to bring over (in batches, of what ideal size?) could be immensely useful for many new (and seasoned) trainzers.

New video in the original post that hopefully gives you a little more info into how to use Trainz Content a little better. More videos to come.
