View Full Version : Text color tables are incorrect.

The text is supposed to be gold, which is created by altering the text color in the config.txt file.

This works properly in TS12 because the slots are R-G-B, however, when the same asset is brought into the retail build 76660, the text became blue, and it was determined that the slots are now B-G-R.
The asset was then adjusted in the retail build to create the gold text shown in the picture on the left.

Importing the same train car into SP1 Beta 79135, makes the text blue again. Does this mean that the table was reset to the normal R-G-B setup from the now B-G-R setup in T:ANE retail? This will be a pain for those that have fixed assets in retail and then upgrade to SP1, but okay for those that bring in assets fresh.

This is why you should not "fix" bugs until SP1 is out.

Yup... But the cars were broke by the retail build on their way in from TS12 where they worked perfectly fine. The SP1 version was a test to see if the new color tables remained. The cars, as they are now and working in the Retail build are being used for a big project for a nearby, well 155 miles away, museum.

Yes, TS12 and 79135 are correct; the retail release has a problem with color channels becoming messed up when rendering text effects.
