Hi everyone

I had to uninstall Trainz 12 for various reasons which I wont go into. I am now trying to reinstall but I can't find the original set up file. I have looked everywhere on the Trainz and Auran websites but to no avail. I have emailed auran support five times but they refuse to answer.

Can anyone tell me where I can find this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Apologies if this is a dumb question.

Thanks

Welcome to the forums.

Whereabouts did you purchase your version from? I can then advise you which page you need to visit.

Hi Shane

Really sorry but I can't quite remember and my searches of paypal etc haven't revealed anything.

Can you give me some options that might prompt my memory?

The three likely ones are Simulator Central, the older Auran shop, and Amazon.

For Simulator Central, you will need to log into that site and click My Account followed by My Downloadable Products. For the older Auran shop, click MyTrainz then Legacy Order History then click the relevant order number.

If it's neither of those then i'm not going to be able to help much I'm afraid.

Hi Shane

I think I've tracked it down to Gamesload. Is that on your list?

Hi John,

Gamesload is a Steam partner. You should have the ability to reinstall this via Steam I would think.

Hope this gets you in the right direction.

Hi John

No luck there. I found an email on my system saying Gamesload had closed down.

Presumably if I can get hold of the exe file I can install it and put in my license key which I still have. Or is it not that simple?

Looks like you may need to contact them - see http://www.t-online.de/unterhaltung/musik/id_71669578/information-fuer-kunden-der-portale-der-deutschen-telekom-ag-musicload-und-gamesload.html for details.
