The driver of a BNSF SD40-2 has climbed down to snap a picture of Southern Pacific GS-4 #4449 clearing the single line for him.

Interurbans no longer exist in Pennsylvania, or much anywhere for that matter.

Since this is throwback, I though why not better then use MSTNoodle Content?

Not sure if this could be called a "throwback" but lets just say this loco was "thrown back" in time.

A Santa Fe SD45-2 can finally relax as she reaches Cajon Summit back in '91, after the long, slow climb up from San Bernardino...

Back when A1 Tornado was painted BR Passenger Express Blue - which upset quite a number of rail fans.

Pic Deleted

Where did you get that Green Mountain 405, I love that ALCo, I have had a picture of it hanging in my room since I was in 1st grade, I would love to have it in trainz. (My inner gimme pig would love it too.)

A Climax and its lone passenger car rumbles into a station on narrow gauge route I created in Trainz Railroad Simulator 2004.

You really can't "throwback" much further than to this GWR Broadgauge scene.

The top-hatted signalman in the foreground is giving the "all clear" to the nearest train (arm horizontal for "proceed" and vertical for "stop"). The drivers (of the passenger trains) have top hats too.

Notice the carriages (one horseless and one to be drawn by horses) on flat wagons in the goods train in the distance, right behind the horse box.

Here's a throwback to Conrail power being common on class one railroads, for real switchers to work locals, and to chrisracer8903's route 'Conrail Lincoln Secondary.'

A Streamlined Ka class steams through the drought ridden countryside. Many of the local folks had their fingers crossed in hoping no sparks from the loco would start a fire.
The loco had it's final paying service run in 1967 (wiki)

The diesels gradually replaced the loco's - especially the DA Class (wiki)

Thank you Iannz, you had a awesome shot yourself. That shot was hard to compete with, and I threw one out there that I knew was going to give a run for the money! Thanks to all who looked and voted! :)
