Hello,

Just a question. I just purchased JR's UP CW44-9 and it is great however.

Whenever I sound the horn the bell turns on by itself.

Is this normal?

Regards,

Raphael.

GEVOs have an automatic "sound the bell" when the horn is blown.

GEVO's are ES44DC's. Completely different models to the Dash-9's. Its required by the FRA* (dont quote me on that one) that the bell is sounded automatically when the horn is blown. So JR is making stuff more real now :)

They also have pretty darn cool K5LLA's too!

Not bashing. They are quite similar. GEVOS are actually decendant from the AC6000 and AC4400 I think. Close relatives to the dash 9
