Greetings.

This week's theme is brought to you by Stevo. Railroading isn't just about the trains, so this week we want you to show us the best scenes from Trainz without an actual Trainz in it. Please send your theme suggestions for subsequent competitions via email or Skype by clicking on the little icons below my username.

One screenshot allowed per entrant. Screenshots must adhere to the theme and the Trainz Forum Code of Conduct (http://online.ts2009.com/mediaWiki/index.php5/Code_Of_Conduct).

Submission closes on May 27 at 12:00 noon UTC/GMT/Zulu time (http://everytimezone.com/).

Cheerio,
Nicholas

A quiet morning in Willow Springs. The low rumple of a par of GP35's can be heard getting ready to star the days work.

Rumor has it that this little old scrap hard has enough scrap parts to build a locomotive.

Certainly in Trainz; I recognise most of the assets used in it.

RAPT's (Russian American Passenger Transportation) new BBL double deckers.

You might want to re-read the topic this week, which is No Trains.

I have an idea for a picture, but I want to know if it will qualify for the theme of this week: Could you have a screenshot taken not of, but from a train? I was thinking of specifically from the interior of a passenger car, looking out a window of the car.

So long as it doesn't have a train in the frame.

Oh. I didn't notice we only had 24 hours to decide[1], but, in any case, I had just decided for ulmer94 too.

All 5 were really good and arhian's one (for me) came second only by a hair! (It was only the slightly fuzzy stream in the foreground that decided it for me). Both excellent! Well done all 5.

Peter.

[1] Given that only one vote got in maybe 24 hours is a bit too tight.

Yea, sorry about that Peter. I'd have preferred a longer tie-voting too but a winner must be picked by Wednesday each week so that the newsletter can include that week's screenshot.

I think an easy solution for this would be to have the week from Sunday to Sunday (again) so that in case of a tie there are 3 days for the tie-breaker.

A good idea, thank you for your suggestion. I will implement this in the next competition.
