I've been looking on the DLS for dem maps. I found some by smooz and fish and I was wondering if anyone else made any? I'm looking for some shortline type of DEMs. I'd really like to find one for the Indiana Northeastern railroad. If anyone knows of one or is willing to make one, would you kindly let me know? Thank you.

Allot of areas are generally flatland, never varying more than 30' in elevation, and are easily replicated in Trainz on flat baseboards.

Once you have a DEM, the DEM controls you, and will make laying track a chore.

Also the lines on a DEM can be way off by +/- 20m or more, in all direction, rivers up on hillsides, and rail lines in river channels.
