Back in the days of political mayhem, (sometime in the 90's), this really rich guy from Texas, Aiche Rosie PeeRot, part owner of this little line in West Texas known as the Roscoe, Snyder And Pacific, searched high and low to get cars and locomotives for his original California Zephyr, for purposes of restoration and running fan trips, the following pix show his great accomplishments...

cz1-1.jpg

This first image shows that Mr.PeeRot was able to aquire the original CB&Q E5 diesel locomotives and restore them to their former glory.

As can be seen in the second shot, the entire train is fully restored to show the luxury of the past.

Ah! Nothing like a grade crossing shot!!

cz7.jpg

Ah! Nothing like a shot from a bridge!!

cz8.jpg

After taking a few pix of this train, I'm beginning to understand Mr. PeeRot's fascination with the old Silver Lady..

cz9.jpg

Absolutely fantastic riding in the dome coach!

cz10.jpg

I mean really luxurious riding the dome!!

Finally got a good shot with these beasts sitting and idling...

And for a final shot, that dome observation car is absolutely beautiful.....:D

:cool:Its a fake one, Aiche Rosie PeeRot is an off take of the name, "H. Ross Perot", the infamous Texas bazillionare who actually did run for president of these here United States in both 1992 and 1996, all on his own money......

Thanks for clearing that up.

If you would like to run the Zephyr with the "right" locos, There is a nice Western Pacific F7A&B on the DLS. There is also a not so nice pair.

Correct me of I'm wrong, but I don't think landrvr gave permission to post his content on other websites without his permission. :o

*Off Topic* And why is lilb's SP cabforward, TrainzItalia's FEF 4-8-4's, and CN 2-8-2 on that site as well? NYC, did you get permission to post these downloads?

Robby

Remove the CN 2-8-2 from your website within 24 hours or actions will be taken to get it and your site removed.

Tyler Bishop, Steve Lerro, and United States Locomotive Works rightfully own all copyrights to the locomotive. What Peter is doing is wrong and against the licensing listed in the content.

I am quite sure the other files are not his either.

You MAY download the locomotive here from its original creators. Enjoy.

Landrvr would not allow that, read the first page of this thread

The only thing I ask is that the content be exchanged via email / file sharing. Please do not upload to any sites (including the Download Station, if that's still possible).

Peter,

Correct me of I'm wrong, but I don't think landrvr gave permission to post his content on other websites without his permission.
This person is correct, you cannot host anything by landrvr1 on a website, the E-units and Sharks are by email or another method but no website downloads. The other content by him you have is on DLS and is also not allowed to be hosted on a site.

lilb's SP cabforward, TrainzItalia's FEF 4-8-4's,
While the first two are links to the proper download locations, they are direct links and you need permission for that. Probably would have been better just to link to their website pages where the downloads are and you still would need permission for that. Unless any of the site owners told you the direct links were allowed, you should remove those.
