thread killer
I can't find the original thread so I thought I'd start a new one.

Show us your hamlet, village, town, city, metropolitan, whatever you call it in trainz.

This is Putnam CT in trainz.

The NS Reading line by Roon goes through Macungie, Emmaus, Allentown which is near where I live. Actually the Fogelsville branch modeled on the route is closest to me, through Trexlertown, Chapmans/Kuhnsville, and end of the line past Cedar Crest Blvd. near the new Parkland High School (I graduated Parkland 1992) at a company that was formerly Trojan Powder Company. The line used to go to Whitehall, Catasauqua under the Reading RR. I live close to Kuhnsville, PA.

Nice job on Putnam, CT, Michael. When I was a kid back in the '60's, we used to do a family picnic and go fishing at Putnam park. Beautiful area to be.
How far are you expanding in that area?

Way down South, in Birmingham,...

...I mean South, in Alabam,
's an old place where people go to dance the night away.

One mid-summer morning in 1980-something, a load of empties with a pair of SD35's on point heads North across Highway 95 shatters the quiet Shades Valley morning.

This scene takes place about 3 miles from my house. :D

I live in Plymouth which is featured on my CSX Saginaw Sub (At the Download Station). Plymouth diamond (The main hub in the center of the route) is where I live. It's a busy spot in real life of 25-30 trains a day ranging from the daily CSX road trains, locals, two yard switchers, a daily CP train, and the 4-5 weekly Coke Trains from W&LE. I also live only a 30 minute drive from Pontiac that is also in the center of my CN Holly Sub at the Download Station. That line is not-as busy seince the GTW days, but it sees a good 10-12 a day exlcuding Amtrak.

I've got some video and pics from the New London station you can use as a reference if you someday decide to go that direction.

Good luck with your route.

Cheers,
JD
