The title of this one is "Stokers and Pokers: Or, the London and North-Western Railway, The Electric Telegraph and the Railway Clearing-House" London, 1849, This looks like an interesting description of a railway, from construction and maintenance to descriptions of the trains, carriages, office, all the way to rules and regulations.

Interesting, a word of warning about the author, Sir Francis Bond Head. He was a popular writer that shall we say wrote in a style that played fast and loose with facts. He like the American Mark Twain considered himself a humorist and his tales appeared in the weekly newspapers as foreign dispatches or stories of foreign lands which the author had never traveled to himself. I look forward to reading this book. Thanks for finding it.
