Firstly, as I've become a right miserable old bugger, and seem to moan at the slightest thing these days. And I have done my fare share of moaning at Aurun/NV3.
I feel it only right, to offer some praise when it is also due!!

A few months ago, I was having some problems with 2010. This was due to my computer. So I had it upgraded, but the problems did not go away, so i put this down to just one of those things. And accepted that 2010 was not going to work on my computer. The problem being after 10 min of play, my computer froze.
This only happened with 2010.
So I resorted back to 2009, which works well on my computer. And so I carried on enjoying Trainz. Until I could afford to upgrade my mother board.

But a strange thing has just happened!!

I hit the wrong desk top ikon and opened 2010 by mistake.
At which point the automatic patcher started and 2010 has been patched.

So I opened 2010 just to see what would happen.

I've been playing it now for over 1 hour and no freezing. Not only that, I really do not remember 2010 being this good. Its not only good. Its bloody amazing!!

So THANK YOU NV3/Aurun or who ever you are these day's.

Check what build your TS2010 is now at (bottom right hand corner when you start TS2010) and use this link to download the latest service pack 3 to take you up to the latest build 44088 - http://forums.auran.com/trainz/showthread.php?t=62766 - (don't worry about TS2009 showing in the link).
Download and install SP3 manually. It can take several hours to install, so be patient and don't interrupt the process...

Hello Ekin1972,

What was your previous motherboard ( + processor ) and by what kind of motherboard ( and processor ) was it replaced?

Just curious, because I have problems with my computer after installing SP 2 on Trainz 2009 ( dutch version but installation in English ). The problems remain after installing SP3. Made a helpdeskticket and mailed a simple route to the helpdesk. The helpdesk have the same problem - the objects are slowly presented on the screen. And sometimes you only see a locomotive during a few seconds. After the seconds have passed, the other objects are appearing one by one on the screen. Very annoying.

I do not know how many times I have reinstalled Trainz 2009 ( SP 1 included in the Dutch Version by Easycomputing ).

And I finally came to the conclusion, that Trainz 2009 Dutch version functions on its best when installing the basic version ( SP 1 included ).

My motherboard MSI P43T-C51 - proc Quad core 8400

I'm not very good as regarding the workings of my computer as I tend to just leave that up to the guy in my local computer shop, but I shall give you the info the best I can.

Mother board is

P5N-E SLI
Intel E6400 core 2 duo processor

Graphics card was

N-vidia 8600GT 512 MB PCI -X

Graphics card is now

N-vidia 1GB GDDR3 Geforce GTS 250

I hope you can understand that

Very refreshing to hear good postings, instead of all the moans about Trainz versions and whats not working.

TS2010 is a very good Trainz version, and a great leap forward for the hobby/business. With so many new features there are bound to be glitches/gripes, but still a good way forward from earlier versions, and is the future direction of this great sim.

I upgraded to a new PC and TRS10 looks & worked a lot better for me. Thought it was TRS 10 but it was my old PC.
And for those that have Raildriver PIE has change to a new down load that makes it run better with new commandes for your buttoms. The reverse work good for DCC mode two mounts ago this wouldn't work.
