Does Trainz 12 or 2010 run faster in windows xp or vista?

I would say Windows 7,

XP, while I am running Vista, Vista is a RAM and Processor HOG... XP takes less Ram and processor to run, thus leaving more open for trainz!

If you can go for Windows 7 64 bit (preferably with 8 Meg of ram). Otherwise, between XP and Vista, XP would be best for the reasons already stated by Enzo1.

The real answer I would guess is that it vary from computer to computer, and would depend on other parts of the computer, such as speed of and/or kind of processor, processor speed.

Windows 7 and 6 Gigs of Ram work great for me.
