Windows Explorer Loses Data

I am in a quandry. When I open IE7 there is no longer a bar showing the favorites, home, etc. icons and the area to select a favorite website to move to it is also missing. I've tried downloading and reinstalling IE7 but when I hit the download button nothing happens!

Any ideas?

Have you done a right click in the bar area and checked that menu bar is ticked? also have you checked that IE has not changed to offline working?

i use (and love) IE7 and I can't find anyway to actually turn that part off, so im not sure how to undo.

So you have no tabs either?

Any options when you right click up the top of IE7?

Evidently had a virus gentlemen. Deleted and replaced the OS. Getting back to normal but with a tremendous loss of data.
