i am unable to open cm2 from the download station i keep getting this error, Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (trainz) isn't associated with any program. i am using 2009 thanks in advance for any help.

I am fairly sure I have seen someone on the forums say Firefox does not work with CM2, use I.E.

Nonsense: I use Firefox and I can open, download and operate without any problems. There is a new Firefox now, try it, is fast, very fast.

You may need to set up an "association" in Firefox for CM2 to be the program that works (opens) with CDP files from Trainz. As I don't have Firefox I can't give you full details. Google for "Firefox Program Associations" or similar for more info.

Why don't you just use CM2 to download directly from the DLS? I find this easier.

FireFox Options Applications Tab Not sure of the process but I have Trainz associated to use Content Manager.

Look under Firefox options. Then Applications. That is where you make link from file type to an application.
