Will there be a Hot Fix for the SP1?

I was wondering if this SP1 was going to get the Surveyor Un-Pause Options back into the Tools Menu Top Menu?
The Carz are Suck at the Intersections and Railroad Crossings, Most Animations are also stopped and Frozen.:(

Another issue is that some of the Yarn Intersections no longer Properly Connect to the Yarn Roads.
Kind Regards.

Put a "Bug Report in then you will receive a response.

This is the correct way to deal with problems.

This reduces the negatives on the Forum.

Just Saying

Happy New Year to All.

The SP1 update does not resolve this problem (and in fact is the cause of the problem). This matter has been dealt with in other threads and bug reports submitted. Please add your own bug report at https://n3vgames.typeform.com/to/xRdryu - the more the merrier.

The Carz are Suck

In my humble opinion Carz always suck in a Trainz Simulator :hehe:

Yea, the Carz are very poor Quality indeed, I agree with you on that statement. I have submitted Bug Reports with no answer back, probably due to the Holidays.
But the Carz are fun to watch them travel the Roads and Pass each other and Honk their Horns when waiting to long.

The Sound Quality in this Game is Horrible with a lot of Snaps and Popping Sounds in the Environment Content Never was like this in the older Versions of Trainz.

I never jump headlong into a brand new SP, and if I did I would have had a backup separate install of TS19 prior to SP1

Holidays is correct, thus, no responses either in the forums on many of the issues raised here.

Carz always had issues. At least they don't hover 3 feet off the ground like they did in TRS2004 and go up hills like they're on an elevator. (I wonder how many remember that!)

Being that N3V does not make content, or does so minimally, we can't hang the sound issue on them. The issue with the sounds is an artifact of either the original sound file, or the result of someone attempting to fix the sounds by making them louder. Instead of increasing the volume of the sound they increased the gain, thus, the starting level of the sound to a much higher level. This results in the sudden pop as the sound is started. There's a thread that popped up recently, (need to search for it again) on how to repair this in Audacity.

Thank You for the reply, yes i am aware of the Audacity tool and have repaired the Sounds, but that is a Modification that causes those Sounds not to be used in my DLC map as they are not available on the DLS as repaired.

I disagree with the fact that the Sound Content is defective as they work flawlessly in the TRS2006 all the way up to the TRS2012, when they imported into 2019 they all have the Popping noise. TANE and the TRS2019 have a bug in the Sound Engine causing this issue.
Yes they can be repaired, but then no longer a Built in or DLS Content. So that is not a good resolve.

Hard to back up my Train 2019 as it is the Steam Client Version. I can not go back to the non SP1 Status.
I have contacted the Map Creations Team and am asking them if I can re-submit the repaired Yarn Roads and Sounds to them for a repaired upload to the DLS.
I will patiently wait for their Help and see if that will be a solution to the Poor builtin Content issues.
Kind Regards to you and Happy New Year.

The sounds worked fine in TRS2006, but then there were other issues with the sound assets a bit later which occurred with the introduction of 3D-stereo effects in TS12. Around when TS12 was introduced, long before the Content Repair Group was formed 2 years ago now (I think), there was a program in place where any user could sign up and repair content. Some people did a better job than others, let me put it that way. In addition to the sounds being ruined, people destroyed engine-specs for some models such as the Alco-RS3 locomotives. With those old models, since repaired with new e-specs, they absolutely would not move due to zero power. In other cases some locomotives would have zero braking capacity or other weird things.

The Content Repair Group has been busily repairing assets to ensure they work error free in TS12 and up. Without assuming anything, there's a possibility these assets are on the list to be repaired. With over 9200 assets, it may take sometime for that to happen.

Yea, there are a heck of a large amount of Assets indeed.
Can you guide me to the correct Person for me to Sign up and Help Repair the Assets/
I do not have any issues of helping out as I am Retired and I really Like this TRS2019 a lot.

I now understand what you mean by the 3D Sound Engine, it is much more complicated and sensitive to Poor Sound Files.
I already have over a 100 Sound Assets repaired ready for the Repair group.
I also have Repaired all of the Maddy's Yarn Roads and Intersection with the Correct Ground height, and several Variations of traffic Speeds for a Realistic Traffic Watch.
Hoping to get the ok to upload them to the Repair Team or up to the DLS.

Streadway, SAP and others that had redone the yarn Stuff, but not done correctly. Their Roads do not line up to the Rail xings and the Traffic Speed is way wrong.
Adding Car Generators to the xings and certain Roads is not a good thing to do, causes the Carz to slide down the Roads Sideways.

Well all in all, Thank You for your replies and concerns.
Kind Regards.
