Will LNER 4468 Mallard steam again?

Can we expect to see 4468 on the tracks once again?

Given the work needed to return her to steam and the NRM's policy of trying to maintain the integrity of its assets where they are deemed to be in reasonably original condition I would view it as unlikely, especially as there are other A4s in steam and certified for the mainline.

Perhaps for the 100th anniversary of her record breaking run? Let the unfounded speculation commence..........:wave:
