Do not need to unconditionally trust antiviruses.
I don't see anything suspicious and downloaded some free locomotives without any problems from here: https://wigwagsims.wixsite.com/wigwagsimulations

If my words are not enough, then this is the result of checking 94 antiviruses on a reputable site:: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/url/0a3715cd04b4b74aa88749fb467a85f0db401b0da092a2c3e73b0756a01ee4b5

I have no issue downloading from this site. I also use U-Block Origin and Privacy Badger which are both blocking things. This means that it's probably a bad advertisement or script link that's triggering the antivirus programs.

I just did a bunch of downloads from WigWag and did not trigger either Defender or the Malwarebytes browser extension. If anything will trigger them, it is MediaFire, and I avoid that by right-clicking the download button and using "Save Link As.."

Maybe get rid of AVAST @JAGG? I used to run that software many years ago, but when the company changed hands, it became one of the biggest Bloatware apps in the Anti-Virus market.
I switched to ESET Internet Security in 2016, and have zero issues with infection, since the app catches every possible virus that comes through, and locks out all malware, or, if the virus or malware code is especially virulent, solidly blocks anything from executing or propagating > throwing the code into hard quarantine. I can then examine and remove as needed.

I remember the one incident I had with a viral infection, @JAGG, that AVAST could not remove, and when I called up the company's tech support? Those assholes wanted to charge me 117 USD PER HOUR, to clean my PC !
Imagine having the balls to double charge for a service like that. 😝

I browse various potentially dangerous internet corners such as russian and chinese servers and so far I have no complains, especially when realizing that it is for free. False positive is far much better then false negative anyway. There is always option to create exception, if convinced that some site is referred as safe. I used to use Symantec (Norton) before coming to Avast and don't regret.
