Wide Radius Tree. Can I reduce it in Config?

There is one type of tree that I placed in many areas - lots of them. Now I am finding that the radius "of control" is so large I can't select other objects near one of these trees unless I delete it or move it. Is there a way to reduce the radius for editing that tree?

Not that I have found yet for SpeedTrees although Pofigs seem to be easier to select, try deleting in Satellite mode from above, it's a bit easier. Just don't go to far up.

I think it's because some of the trees are actually bigger than what we see as they are hidden by the alphas.

I don't really know a way to reduce the control radius of a speedtree, but you could place them in a seperate layer and lock that, when you want to fiddle with other scenery items in their vicinity.

I would go beyond speedtrees and say that it is trees in general. I used to have quite a few problems selecting specific trees with Trunda's too. The statement about alphas being larger than the visible trees may or may not be correct, but it sure does sound plausible to me! There are some pretty big planes used to make a tree with a good portion of it alpha'ed out.
