Why don't I have cars on my roads ?

I cant have cars on the roads I create. I Have them in the layouts made by others, but when I put a road in my layout, I don't have them. For example : when I open Bad Schandau Decin, session basic session, the cars are on the roads. If I put the same road in one of my layouts, I dont have the cars on it.... Could somebody help me ?

When you create a route, you need to choose a region other than default to have road vehicles.

Plus not all road splines are traffic enabled - in some the designers have switched off the traffic option.

There are two possible reasons:
#1: the region is default
#2: the "Toggle traffic" button is off
