Why can’t I download kuids that are (supposedly) builtin?

I repeatedly find missing kuids are supposedly builtin a previous patch. Particularly #110491.
Yet they are not in my version - TRS19 Platinum. I upgraded to PE to ensure I had the latest version which did resolve a few of the missing kuids.

However I and other users have expressed this same issue/concern but no resolutions have been issued.

Trainz has turned into a major scavenger hunt versus a most enjoyable product and pastime.

THIS IS QUITE FRUSTRATING and gone on long enough.

Congratulations and thank you to all the route builders that release routes & sessions with all kuids included or clear links to sites where they can be found.

What are the assets you are having difficulty downloading?

There are some that are actually meant for the mobile platform that are a version-level higher which causes our content to show out-of-date, but we can't download them because they're not available to us.

Your reply actually makes sense but my missing kuids are for standard routes on a pc. Many from Indiana Western at the moment but this issue is bigger than one route/session.

They are supposedly BUILTIN but cannot be seen or downloaded. I have asked for the patch to be downloaded with some instructions on loading or picking out individual kuids but no reply from N3V at all.

I have licenses for TRS19 & TRS19 PE and TANE.

I think N3V should at least provide some info on a functional solution or that they are working on it or allow users to send a copy to another user where appropriately
licensed.

Again I am getting frustrated playing scavenger hunt on the web to find kuids that are “builtin”.

I'll download that route and take a look. Trainz has a way of marking assets as built-in when in fact they are payware. These could very well be the ones that belong to some payware routes.

If you can provide a list of the missing parts, I'll take a look at them.

I do indeed understand your frustration. I used to spend days KUID hunting but now that's no longer the case. I will delete the route instead if it's more than a few assets. N3V is working on something to help with that situation, but like anything else with a small company there's just some many bodies they can put on a project. I can relate to that too even though I've been retired for a decade. I worked for a place that downsized and I picked up multiple hats to keep spinning in the air.

In my original post I forgot to include and thank the KUID INDEX folks for all the help and links they have provided since inception. Terrific help provided.

Checked in TRS19 SP5.

You are using an up to date version of TRS19? And have checked Content store for updates?

Probably all have older versions on the DLS

I've got them all and show no missing assets. I would try right-clicking on the unknown asset and try download this version. That will sometimes download the older one from the DLS if it's available.
