How do I get my trains to whistle or toot there horns at various locations.

Three ways that I can think of
Press the H key on your keyboard
Use one of the automatic whistle boards available from the DLS
Use the whistle rule and a trigger

I tried the whistle boards and all I could get was a short (very very short) blast of the horn. I wanted to have it blow a full sound but could not do it. Maybe the whistle rule and trigger is the answer.

Try finding a different horn and insert it into the file.
