If you had introduced this then you can by keeping the H key down letting the steam whistle to sound looping over and over again.
Unfortunately, things are not quite so for me, because it gets a little break when relooping(0.5 sek).
I found another signal in Trainz that has this feature: Generic Horn. It worked without problems with the H key pressed down.
(Note, some other signals had the same problem as my whistle signal)
I then replaced my whistle signal with that of Generic Horn and everything worked perfectly => my config file is OK.
Conclusion: Something problem with my wav sound file. The sound I have taken from a video where I was recording a steam loco. The sound I have since converted to WAV, PCM uncompressed, 22050Hz, 16bit, mono format. Completely in accordance with specifications from Auran.
Compared with Generic Horn: Yes, exactly same characteristics
But there was one difference: the speed of playback
Generic Horn whistle signal: 128kbps
My whistle signal: 352kbps
Is this the problem?
