I found the following on Wikipedia under 'Trainz 2010'

Trainz Simulator 2010: Engineers Edition
The previously planned Trainz Simulator 2010: World Builders Edition was released as "Trainz Simulator 2010: Engineers Edition" from 23 November 2009 as a free digital download to registered Auran users of Trainz 2006, 2009 or Classics, and from the first half of December 2009 for the Christmas seasons as retail boxed versions solely via the Aurans online store. Regular retail release is pending later in 2010. The primary addition to this edition is the use of the SpeedTree system, graphical improvements for built-in content, and performance improvements for both custom and built-in content.[16]
Despite being called "Engineers Edition", the signature Surveyor module is still included. Specifications were announced 13 November 2009[17]

Now I would like to know how and where I can get my free copy, since I own both 2006 and Classics 1&2 ?

Judging from the fact that your source is wikipedia, I think you've already answered your own question.

this was sabotaged. it also said that there was a version with only surveyor which makes no sense. it also stated in that section that there was a free download of marias pass for registered users. this is also not true. dont believe everything on wikipedia

It appears to be a bunch of 'small edit' vandalisms by someone in the netherlands, it's been ongoing for the last couple of weeks, and they are doing it like they are because small subtle changes don't tend to get reverted as obvious-vandalism so easily.

Whoever it is, they're directing all their intends on Trainz and Raildriver, going back a couple of weeks and looking for dutch users complaining would probably yield some suspects :P

Hmmm, one comes to mind, Zwabberaar by any chance?

taken from the edited Wikipedia article: "lacking the Drivermodule, having only the Surveyor Module, Witch users could create routes and upload them to the Auran website and via "Content Manager" so they can be played in Trainz, and being considered a demo for TRS 2006."

There you go....Wiccan covens have turned their witchcraft on Auran!
