Where can you get lots of Canadian Steam Locomotives for Trainz

Not satisfied

I already have the two locos that Obo's Trainz Locomotive Catalog shows under the heading "Canada - Steam"

Unfortunately, creating steam locomotives is harder work than creating diesel or electric locomotives, which are still hard to make by themselves, so there are aren't all that many Canadian steam locomotives(two). There might be a locomotive on payware site, but of course you would have to pay for it.

Hello,

I have a few in the works (actually a very long list of them but...) but my development box did not survive the trip from Winnipeg. I wil be return there to get the rest of my backups out of storage but that won't happen till May and will take a few more months to get back at then.

Check out my old web site - not sure how much longer Shaw will leave it up as I am not in a home yet and so do not have my actual shaw account connected yet - just borrowing a friends system to connect right now.

The old site is:

have fun

That 4-4-0 in there looks real nice Mate. :D Even if a WIP...

Thanks much. Hopefully I will get it finished. I had sent it out for beta testing and then the cancer flared up and never finished it. now that I seem to be out of the woods, and as soon as i get a new development box and my backups, I'll get it finished. It was actually quite a bit better than what is shown on that web page but never had a chance to update it and can't remember the password to access the site anymore.

When I get the restore discs out of storage I'll have the following to complete:

- The A2M 4-4-0
- The Royal Hudson
- The T1B - 5920 streamlined Selkirk
- The T1C - 5935 streamlined Selkirk (different stack, sand dome and a few other changes)
- The 1201 4-6-2 Pacific that I had the pleasure of driving from Brandon to Winnipeg in 1985 or 86 - can't really remember anymore - old age kicking in
- several varieties of 2-10-0 decapods
- several different 4-6-0 models (D4g, D10a, D10b....)
- a bunch of switchers (0-6-0, 0-8-0, 0-10-0)
- The experimental multi-pressure Selkirk
- The only Articulate operated by CPrail the 0-6-6-0
- several different T1A 2-10-4 Selkirks
- both 4-8-4s
- both 4-8-2s
- a 2-10-2
All were in the works but never finished.

The list of planned locomotives is extensive and if I ever get my system back up I'll update it but that is not going to happen till at least June/July.

Bricey
